Dear Morteratsch friends
An unbelievable summer season is coming to an end – we say CIAO and THANK YOU and look back briefly.
It rained. Rained a lot…
We finally celebrated weddings again!
We had an unbelievable number of guests, whatever the weather. Fantastic! And (nearly) Allways in a good mood.
We took a look at what we used up this summer. And we have to admit, we're even surprised ourselves at our numbers.
Are you curious and have you wondered how much we serve in one season? Here, see for yourself:
We have about 1'300 Green salads served and over 1'600 mixed, that corresponds to a total of approx 870 kg of lettuce.
What do you think which soup is the most popular with us? Exactly, the barley soup. We have approx 1'500 portions made ? all homemade.
Rösti is considered the Swiss national dish, isn't it? but we could almost rename it Morterasti, because we have over 2'500 Rostis fried this summer season.
|And now comes the bang, hold on tight! We have about 6'000 Piece of cake sold. Imagine that?! 6'000 pieces. And each one has to be baked, put on a plate with a napkin and fork and carried to the guest.
|Wow, you really have to let that sink in first. Now you may think: yes, if so much cake was sold, then it was certainly not a little coffee?. Yes indeed, correct reasoning:
We have literally over 20'000 Cups of coffee brought to our guests (and probably drank half as much myself again).
That's crazy, don't you think?
And all of this would simply not be possible without our valuable employees and colleagues? which on average approx 20'000 Taking steps per work day, by the way.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our entire team! You are FANTASTIC!
I believe that each and every one of us definitely deserves the title «Team-Fantastic»! What do you think?
Of course we would also like to thank our numerous guests. You make all this possible here and we are very proud that so many people come to Morteratsch every day. THANKS ?
