What do we mean by that? Quite simply: For us, sustainability and responsibility towards natural resources does not mean cutbacks and restrictions, but much more a clear focus on what is close, what is available, what is good! Thus, our orientation offers a lot of enjoyment and fun. The following are some examples that we consciously implemented in order to be more sustainable and responsible.
We are already doing this ...
- Clean energy
We get the electricity directly from Val Morteratsch
We have our own water source right here in the Morteratsch –, it couldn't be fresher
Our Swiss Lodge Al Vadret is equipped with a low-energy heat pump - Regional
We shop locally. Eg fresh eggs from Bio-Bauer in Puschlav, local beef from Plino, Samedan, organic lamb from Zuoz from Casty-Hof, to name just a few. - Self-made
Food & drink is homemade with lots of love. For example, the in-house iced tea with little sugar and a lot of naturalness. Or the world-famous nut cake. Or… Or… Or… - Always fresh!
Who live and cook according to the principle: Don't we always have everything? but always fresh!
And look forward to a little bit of understanding if a dish cannot be offered for once! Grazia fich! - Wine – also from here
Of course, the “Neue-Welt-Wines” are also tasty, but why wander into the distance when the good is so close? We consciously showcase local wines from Switzerland and neighboring countries, forgoing wines from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, South America, etc. - We like our glacier
We support all projects that benefit the Morteratsch Glacier.
