Marta and Josephine, who have been at the Morteratsch for many years, find every speck of dust in the room and in the public areas. With great attention to detail, they give our premises unbeatable comfort and warmth. The two are supported by the young, sporty Lenka from Slovakia, who is already spending her 5th season in the beautiful Engadin. GRAZCHA FICH!
The plate kings Larbi, Tomas and Luca
Nothing fazes Larbi and Tomas. They clean huge stacks of plates with ease. Luca supports these two during the summer holidays. With their calm demeanor and constant smile, they also let the sun shine in the kitchen. And that smile even lasts during the Ramadan- months, because Larbi is from Morocco and celebrates Ramadan to the fullest. We salute! GRAZCHA FICH to the two plate kings!
The Culinary Artist
Our kitchen team has it all. She lives, laughs, jokes, calls and cooks well from the heart! Thorsten leads with calm and wit, Oskar knocks jokes just as well as he cooks? and he cooks well. Ivo prepares everything he can, Mirco's Italian temperament can also be felt in his creations and Guido wraps all those with a sweet tooth (including the staff) around his finger with his nut cake. Carmen manages the strong squad. She has long-term experience, is skilled and sincere and takes care of the well-being of the guests as well as the Service-Team. Michele and Christian, the two roosters in the chicken coop let their charm play and enjoy it too. Andrea, the nimble Bavarian, scurries through the tables at high speed and makes sure that all starving athletes get something to eat and drink as quickly as possible. With Michela, the funny Austrian who also works in the hospital, every patient is in good hands. Mafalda, young and pretty and yet she belongs to the "old iron", she has been in Morteratsch for an incredible 9 years. She is wide awake and in a good mood early in the morning, which makes breakfast taste even better. Yamila, the fiery Cuban infects everyone with her happy mood, a true sunshine. It provides drinks, cakes, tarts, etc. in a matter of seconds. Alexia and Lucia from Portugal and Argentina step in at short notice whenever necessary. GRAZCHA FICH!

Boris, the all-rounder! Whether Front-Office, IT-problems, technical matters, he finds a competent solution for everything, indispensable! Monika wants to see every guest and employee happy, no matter what the cost. In order to bring as many guests as possible to this beautiful place, she takes care of marketing measures and writes blogs like this one, for example. And last but not least Christophe: He doesn't want to be called the director, he only sits on the office chair when most of them have finished work. He prefers to lend a hand wherever necessary, be it in the kitchen, service, with the goats, mowing, garbage disposal and much more? Nothing is too bad for him, his patience is indestructible (except in the event of a network breakdown lasting several days?). GRAZCHIA FICH to our wonderful boss!
Another GRAZIA FICH goes to Steffi, not part of the Morteratsch team, as she belongs to the Morteratsch family. Christophe's girlfriend spends her days off at Morterasch, where she restores benches and chairs, feeds goats and so on!
